Looking for a sweet mare to have as your next companion? Look no further. Anna is a 22 year old Thoroughbred mare who is currently retired at Clover Hill Farm living the good life in a field with herd mates. She receives regular grooming care, vaccines, deworming, and farrier work but is a very easy keeper as far as diet. She currently receives a scoop of senior sweet feed once per day and free choice grass. In winter, receives a horse quality round bale for her and her herd mates, and she keeps her weight with little to no effort. She is barefoot and does well as such.
Anna had 13 starts on the racetrack and raced under the name “Glowing Prospect.” She has never been bred or had any foals. Her owner adopted her in 2011 and in 2012, Anna tore her deep digital flexor tendon in her left hind. This turned out to obviously be a chronic injury that couldn’t be mended even with treatment. She has been fully retired since her injury and is unsuitable for riding or breeding because of her injury and age. She would do well as a companion horse turned out with other horses since she has an even tempered attitude, keeps to herself, and is very quiet within a herd. Anna has great manners, stands well, and enjoys her routine grooming.
*She is free to a good home with certain restrictions. We must have 3 quality written references provided to us and one must be from your vet. She is up for adoption because her owner has fallen on hard times and can no longer care for her. We will have the new adopter go through more steps in order to obtain her which will be outlined after you voice your interest in adopting her.

This sweet boy offers a straightforward, yet sensitive ride. Light in the bridle and off your aids, he is always listening to his rider but is not overly forward. Perfect for the youth or amateur wanting to move up the levels! He has lovely lateral movements, extensions, collections, etc. Schooling walk-canter transitions, flying changes, counter canter and walk pirouettes, this guy is the real deal. He’s even popped over a few jumps and been trail ridden.
